TWO TRIP TICKETS
Beat the day ticket price increases in certain places and buy a two trip ticket instead. We realise that a lot of people use a day ticket as a “return” so we’ve reduced the price of the two trip tickets. And if you get a lift home you can always use it another day too!

Examples:
Swadlincote/The Gresleys/Linton to Burton Town Centre
Adult: £2.20 single; £3.20 two trip.
Child/B_Line/Burton College £1.40 single; £2.10 two trip

Stapenhill/Brizlincote/Acorn Inn/Branston/Horninglow to Burton
Adult: £1.60 single; £2.60 two trip. Child £1.10 single; £1.70 2 trip

Lichfield to Burton

OTHER TICKETS
On and from 25th July 2011 the 5 to 19 ticket will be withdrawn.
All under 16s (subject to proof of age where required) will be able to buy a child ticket at a discounted rate of around 33%

If you live in Derbyshire and are under 17 or under 19 and still in full time education get a FREE B_Line card from school or college and get up to 33% discount off all adult fares. Visit
www.bline.derbyshire.gov.uk for full details.

If you live in Staffordshire and are under 20 get a FREE Your Staffordshire card which entitles you to travel for a flat fare of just £1 per journey commencing or terminating in Staffordshire.

Holders of Burton and South Derbyshire College Student cards can travel at the child rate of 33% discount when showing the driver your card. This discount also applies 7 days a week!

Please note when purchasing one of the discounted tickets shown above that children under 5 are not carried free so an adult priced ticket should be purchased from the outset if you wish to take a child under 5 with you at any point during the day otherwise an additional fare will be charged.

Therefore if you’re aged 16 or above you will need a B_Line card, Your Staffordshire Card or from September a Burton College Student Card to receive a reduced fare otherwise the standard adult fare will be charged.

                        CHILDREN UNDER 5

Up to 2 children aged 4 and under may travel free with each adult fare paying passenger or national concessionary pass holder (excluding group tickets). For clarification this concession does not apply to those purchasing or holding discounted rate tickets for the young and students (child tickets, Burton College Student discounted tickets, Your Staffordshire Card tickets or b_line tickets); full priced tickets should be purchased from the outset which is cheaper than purchasing individual tickets.
