OTHER SERVICE CHANGES FROM 28th APRIL 2014
We are making some changes to our others services on and from 28th April 2014.
The 08:25 Swadlincote to Burton journey will now run as service 9. This is to avoid the horrendous and unpredictable traffic on the A444 at this time.
There are other slight changes to the timetable in order to help with reliability at peak times.
No changes other than a new journey at 08:25 Swadlincote to Burton Monday to Friday. Also the 09:10 Queen's Hospital to Ashby will leave at 09:05.
This will be extended from Measham to Ashby de la Zouch as a replacement for Arriva service 8 in this area.
Buses on service 19 will run current line of route to Overseal then via Netherseal, Donisthorpe, Oakthorpe village, Measham, Packington to Ashby every 2 hours.
New service 19A will run every 2 hours as above but will serve Woodville Road in Overseal, Slackey Lane and Donisthorpe Lane between Overseal Church and Donisthorpe.
Combined, services 19 and 19A will offer an hourly daytime service between Burton, Swadlincote, Overseal, Donisthorpe, Oakthorpe, Measham, Packington and Ashby.
Certain journeys will also run via Linton & Castle Gresley to offer additional services. In particular there will be a journey from Linton at 08:39 into Swadlincote for 08:49 offering an arrival for 09:00 replacing Arriva's journey at 08:31. There will also be a return journey at 17:35 filling in the gap on the 21 timetable between 17:00 and 17:50.
Services 9,19 and 19A continue to offer a half hourly off peak service between Swadlincote, Newhall, Burton & Queen's Hospital.
Slight changes to some afternoon journeys mainly to do with Pingle School's earlier finishing time.
The 07:30 from Swadlincote to Burton (07:40 on Saturdays) will no longer start from Wilmot Road.
New timetables are available in the "services & times" section of this website. A map of the new 19 and 19A route is also shown there.
There are currently no planned changes to any other services.

Buses on service 22 are unable to serve the Elms Road stop in Coton due to roadworks.

Buses on service 22 are also diverted due to a road closure by Roger Bullivants. Although this will not affeect any bus stops it may add a couple of minutes to the journey.
